1914 In Bible Truth Daniel 4:16 sets forth a time period of seven years. Revelation 12:14 sets forth a period of 3 and 1/2 times. The period of 3 and 1/2 times in Revelation 12:14 is equal to the 1260 days in Revelation 12:6. If twice 3 and 1/2 times equals 7 times, it follows that twice 1260 days equals 2,520 days. A Biblical year equals 360 days. 7 times 360 equals 2,520. From Revelation 12:6 and Revelation 12:14 and from the length of a Biblical year, we conclude that the period of 7 times referred to in Daniel 4:16 is equal to 2,520 days. By divine prescription ( Ezekiel 4:6 and Numbers 14:34 ) 2,520 days is changed to 2,520 years. The period of 7 times in Daniel 4:16 refers to the absence of divinely appointed rulership over mankind. Divinely appointed rulership over mankind was symbolized by the kings that sat on the throne of Jehovah in Jerusalem. The last such king was King Zedekiah who was removed in 607 B. C. The year 607 B. C. marked the beginning of the 7 times or 2,520 years in Daniel 4:16. ( Also see Ezekiel 21:25-27 ). At the end of 2,520 years a divinely appointed king would be installed upon the throne of Jehovah. The 2,520 years ended in 1914 and the divinely appointed king installed upon the throne of Jehovah was Jesus Christ. In our time His rule will be extended from heaven throughout the earth. All the earth must yield to the divinely appointed King, Jesus Christ. `
